Non for a week, merely I left several soaking in dyed juice for five days to come across if it would improve the color. Thy turned great and the colour was noticeably more than brilliant. BTW, I don't apply Curtis' chambers, I used plastic squeeze bottles inside a drinking glass vacuum chamber.

I fabricated my own rather minor ten" circular x24" tall chamber.. You know for those days I feel like stabilizing every blank I own.. 
I didn't prepare out to make one that large.. I just kid of happened simply I'm all set if I get the urge to stabilize a few hundred blanks at one time. Somehow I don't recall my toaster oven is up to the job..
I take most eight blanks soaking in a plastic tub I fix inside the chamber..

You can leave them in the Juice as long every bit you want. Months, weeks, days, it does not matter and will not hurt the blanks or the Juice.
BTW, I am posting this from my phone while drinking a glass of blood-red wine sitting on the embankment in Punta Cana Dominican Republic! How's that for service!

I am bringing dwelling house one piece of driftwood I plant on a beach today during a Jeep excursion. My mom paid for all of us adults to go so I am going to Juice it and make a pen for her. Otherwise I simply work with Central Texas woods!
