How To Get Full Screen On Windows 8

Windows 7 and eight - Magnification software

Windows 8

• To open the Ease of Admission Centre printing 'Windows' logo primal +'U'
• On a touch-enabled device, swipe in from the right hand border of the screen and so tap 'Search' and enter Ease of Admission in the search box and tap 'Settings' and so tap 'Ease of Admission Centre' from the search results.
• Using a mouse move the mouse pointer to the upper right manus corner of the screen, and so move the arrow downwards to select 'Search' and enter Ease of Admission in the search box and tap 'Settings' then tap 'Ease of Access Centre' from the search results.

Ease of Access page

You can find more than settings on the Ease of Admission page where you tin assign 'Windows' central + 'Volumn Upwards'quickly plough on 'Magnifier'.

• Open Ease of Admission Centre press 'Windows' logo key + 'U' or click Beginning button 'Control Console' + 'Ease of Access' + 'Ease of Access Center'.

Step 1

• Under Quick Admission to common tools press 'Alt' + 'One thousand' or click to select 'Commencement Magnifier' , Fig i.

• Windows 7 features 2 forms of Magnification, Full Screen Magnification and Magnifying Lens.

Full Screen Magnification Style

When the Magnifier starts, you lot will find a magnifying glass icon appears on screen, Fig iii.

Clicking on this gives access to the magnifier options dialog, Fig iv.

• Clicking on the 'Minus' button reduces the level of magnification or press the 'Windows' key + '–' (minus). Click the 'Plus' button to increase the magnification or printing 'Windows' key + '+' (plus).
• To select 'Total Screen', click on 'Views' to open the menu, Fig v. Select 'Full Screen' or press 'Ctrl' + 'Alt' + 'F'.

The options button is the one to the correct of 'Views' and clicking on this opens the dialog in Fig 6.

Clicking and ticking the various options volition turn on the specific feature or printing:

• 'Alt' + 'I' - Turn on colour inversion
• 'Alt' + 'M' - Follow the mouse arrow
• 'Alt' + 'K' - Follow the keyboard focus
• 'Alt' + 'T' - Have magnifier follow the insertion betoken

Fig 7 gives an impression of how the screen appears in 'Full Screen' mode.

Lens Mode

• To modify to Lens, click the 'Lens' option in the 'Views' menu or press 'Ctrl' + 'Alt' + 'L', Fig 8.

• The options in Lens mode are slightly different, in that the size of the lens can be altered.
• In the 'Magnifier Lens Size' box, click and drag the size bars to brand the adjustments or press 'Tab' until the relevant aligning slider is highlighted, use either the up or down arrow keys for the height and the left or right arrows for the width adjustments, Fig 9.

In Windows vii the magnifier will only fully work with Total Screen style and Lens way if the  "Aero" theme is practical, if other themes are used the View options "Full screen" and "Lens" cannot be accessed and Magnifier will only work in docked mode.
